TOHANER FETEASCA NEAGRA 13.5% Alc

Feteasca Neagra is a dark-skinned grape variety native to the Republic of Moldova and Romania, although it is now more widely planted in the latter. It is considered to make some of the top red Romanian wines, exhibiting spicy, smoky fruit characters and good tannin structure. Wine made from Feteasca Neagra may be produced dry, semi-dry or sweet and is known for its deep ruby-red coloring and characteristic blackberry flavors. Dark cherries, plums and chocolate may also be detectable, as well as vanilla where wines have seen some oak.
